John Shipp is a mediator, arbitrator and settlement counsel with more than 26 years of experience resolving complex disputes nationwide—particularly business and commercial matters involving significant financial exposure, difficult legal and factual issues, important business relationships, and consequences that extend well beyond the dispute itself.

John is a 31 year lawyer who has worked as a trial lawyer, litigator and transactional attorney. He trained as a mediator in 2000 and has conducted approximately 2,500 mediations. In 2013, he left private practice to become a full-time neutral.

John is frequently retained in challenging, high-stakes disputes, including cases where prior efforts to reach a resolution have been unsuccessful.
